Most City of Toronto Minor Variance and Consent Appeals To Be Filed with TLAB starting May 3, 2017May 2, 2017 | News
Starting May 3, 2017, minor variance and consent appeals from the City of Toronto’s Committee of Adjustment will go to the Toronto Local Appeal Body (TLAB) instead of the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB). Minor variance and consent appeals that have related planning applications will continue to be processed by the OMB. The OMB will also continue to process minor variance and consent appeals from other municipalities.
This change is a result of the passing of by-law 294-2017, enacted by Toronto City Council on March 29, 2017.
